A couple of years ago now, I interviewed the Wairarapa Spinners and Weavers Guild as they met at The Wool Shed, New Zealand’s National Museum of Sheep and Shearing (but of course!)
What a lovely, generous bunch of folk they were, sharing stories of their love and passion for the art and craft of spinning, felting, and knitting. Here’s the finished piece, first aired on Arrow FM, the Wairarapa’s community access radio station based in Masterton.
