Me and the kids joined the #TPPANoWay march in Featherston on Saturday 15th August, one of the dozens of marches planned across the country during TPPA Action Week (8th – 15th August 2015). I took along the recorder on the off chance I could capture some audio at the same time as attending to Isla (6) and Flo’s (3.5) many requirements for a happy protest – plenty of snacks, frequent nose wiping, and much zipping and unzipping of coats!
This is a modest featurette at only 9min and 13secs, but I hope this piece gives you a sense of the energy, positive vibe and hope of those I spoke to in Featherston that we can make a difference, that we can make our voices heard!
My huge thanks to the wonderful people of Featherston and the Wairarapa, including John Hart, Jade Holley, Steve Hart and a nice bloke called Dave. And of course huge high 5’s to Isla and Flo on their first ever political rally!
For more information about the TPPA, then It’s Our Future is a good place to start!
Love your work!
Thank you David!
