This morning, my youngest, Flo, decided sleep was for wimps! So, we got dressed and got out of the house and took some early morning photos of Featherston, the small NZ town in which I and my family live. I’m glad we did. The morning was still and quiet (apart from the house nearest the train station that was playing Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers’ version of Islands in the Stream… apt in so many ways!), it didn’t rain, and Gusto’s was open for coffee and a croissant! Here are the fruits of our labours!
