Featherston Stories #10 Protesting the TPPA

Featherston citizens exercising their right to protest back in 2015 on the issue of the TPPA

This is an old story from 2015, when the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA) was very much in the news and the good people of Featherston took to the streets to peacefully protest the agreement and to raise public awareness of the issues.  A ‘new-look‘ TPP (or CPTPP!) is currently on the table, and you can find out more about that from the MFAT website here. Thanks to those beautiful people on the rally that took the time to talk to me about there concerns.  What are your views on this global trade agreement? Do you feel your voice is being heard on issues like this?  Tell me what you think via the contact form below, or email recoopereight@gmail.com – I’d love to hear from you!
