Of course, every day is NZ Music Month at Arrow FM 92.7FM, where we only play 100% NZ music (when we aren’t broadcasting your wonderful shows!). But, cos’ I’ve been left on me own this month, I’ve gone NZ Music crazy – names get all mixed up when we play a track from the latest EP offering from The Phoenix Foundation; we share some Cherry Pie with the fabulous Leila Adu; we visit Moonlough Shore with the Southgate Band; we banter with The Front Lawn; examine a Ghost’s Broken Heart with French for Rabbits; and get all teary with Roberta Flack (perhaps she visited NZ once!).
In between the awesome music, there’s news of The Studio, a new programme on Arrow FM; a look at the Yarns in Barns programme for 2014; and a review of The Word Club, a new club for word lovers started by John Ansell in Martinborough.
