Enrico Tizzano talks Life is Beautiful with me this month on ReCooper8

Tonight, the ReCooper8 family welcomes Enrico Tizzano, ReCooper8’s film reviewer all the way from London (via Skype), who will be joining us each month, weather and bandwidth permitting, with reviews of a few of the latest (and not so latest) films.  This month, Enrico talks about three of his all time favourites – The Raid:Redemption, Battle Royale and Life is Beautiful… plus shares with us his disturbing experience of seeing Jaws as a 7 year old!  Welcome Enrico!

ReCooper8 also welcomes back Anne Taylor, writer, artist and editor, with a quick trip around what’s hot in the local arts scene here in the Wairarapa.  This month, Anne explores the theme of cities in the forthcoming photography exhibition, The City – Becoming and Decaying at Aratoi (1st March – 12th April 2014), and the intriguing Life Swap animation project from Steffan Kreft and William Conner, which explores the life and trials of a German-Kiwi exchange.  You can also ‘like’ Life Swap on Facebook.

Music this month is cicada inspired, given that they were almost the loudest thing in the studio during the recording of this month’s ReCooper8!  So, it’s a couple of beautiful tracks from Emma Beaton and Nic Gareiss recent eponymous album, and a little bit of Luke Thompson.

So, tune in 92.7FM tonight at 10pm, or catch this month’s edition on Thursday 27th February at 8pm.  OR, if you missed all that, download the podcast and more besides from here.  ORRR, I’ll be uploading the best bits to this blog in a few days time!  There.  Done.  Thank you, and Good Night!
