Struggling to adapt to a life without the Kokomai Festival?  Well, try ReCooper8!  Tune in to Arrow FM tonight at 8pm and enjoy an interview with Hinemoana Baker (which includes some of her fabulous music and poetry), and terrific music from Humming House, Grace and Tony and Split Enz!

Hinemoana, a published poet, a singer-songwriter, recording artist and occasional broadcaster, talks to me ahead of her appearance at Wairarapa Word on 1st December at Tarragon Cafe, Carterton.  She talks candidly about her influences and motivations, the writing process, collaboration and her upcoming residency at Victoria University.  My huge thanks to Hinemoana for her time and openness, and to Madeleine Slavick, curator of Wairarapa Word, for the introduction!

Music this month is from two US folk bands – Humming House and Grace and Tony – and Split Enz!

*And from next month, the last three programmes of all sponsored shows on Arrow FM will be available from our soon-to-be-launched oh so beautiful brand-spanking-new website!

Arrow FM, the Wairarapa’s Community Access Radio Station.  Listen on 92.7FM, or click ‘listen live‘.  And, watch out for our new website and podcast facility being launched later this month!
