And now, a word from my sponsor, Ladybirds!

Ladybirds have just released their Summer Newsletter.  I’ve given you a snippet below, to give you an idea of how dynamic a centre this is for infants and pre-schoolers.

Welcome back! We hope you have all had a wonderful holiday break; we are looking forward to another busy and exciting year. We start the New Year welcoming several new children and their families. We hope you enjoy your time here with us at Ladybird.

We are starting off the year with a whole centre (infants and toddlers included) term plan on “the great outdoors”. The children have become really interested in camping, tent making, camp fires, maps etc so we have decided to run with a camping theme. The children will be making their own teepees, pitching a tent, building campfires, doing treasure hunts and learning about the great outdoors. As part of our planning we are going to have a parents/grandparents bbq lunch on the 21st February. We will be having a sausage sizzle, the children will show off their teepee making skills and roasting marshmallows. We would love it if you could join us!

We are seeing exciting progress around the corner at Blue School – The Pod officially opened its doors on the 14th Jan for the school holiday programme with an amazing line up of fun and exciting activities. The Blue School is nearing completion and will have its opening in mid February. If you have any questions about any of these please don’t hesitate to speak to Alison, Regan or Sian – the website (still very much under construction) is up and running for The Pod so feel free to go and have a look – www.thepod.co.nz

Look out for an extended feature on Ladybirds and the new initiatives, The Pod and The Blue School in the next editionof ReCooper8.
